Lamaze Group Class
The main focus of this interactive class is to prepare you and your labor support person for a positive childbirth experience.
The class offers information on pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period while focusing on current, evidence-based techniques for practical pain management skills, ways to advocate for yourself, and information on the many options during birth.

DC Lamaze is
Here to Help!
The instructors of DC Lamaze love sharing the miracle of birth with expectant families! We are here to help everyone prepare for a positive birth experience.
However, we understand not all families can afford the cost of a class. So, starting January 1st, a portion of our class fees went towards our new “Here to Help” program. Now we are able to begin sharing these funds with moms in need!

Those who qualify may receive attendance in one of our Lamaze Prepared Childbirth Classes at 25% off, 50% off, or free of charge!** We cannot think of a better way to help all women have a wonderful “birth” day!

So, I don't qualify for financial assistance, but the budget is tight. . . .
1. Don't forget to use your FSA and HSA funds. We offer receipts and certificates that can help you take advantage of the money you have already set aside for healthcare-related spending.
2. Add it to your baby shower wish list! A few friends can help you get a stroller and others can contribute to your class. The gift of learning is always priceless!
Private Classes
Sometimes you need a little one-on-one care with a private class. Perhaps you're on bedrest or swamped at work. Whichever the case may be, your class can be done live online or in-person in her Silver Spring, MD home with one of our certified childbirth educators who is also a doula! For details about class content and costs, contact our instructor below or simply register online.

Specialty Classes
Moms get lots of classes, but dads need BOOT CAMP! Try this 3 hour virtual class to meet "veteran dads" and their new babies to help you prepare for fatherhood! (And yes, they have one for moms, too!)
Life is busy when you're expecting a second baby, so try an On Demand Refresher Class! It includes a Zoom sibling class session, too, so you will all be ready!
The holidays are coming and so is your little one! Fit your childbirth class in by doing it with a Virtual Childbirth & Baby Care Combo Class! Both will work together to prepare you for your new family member with for 60 days of viewing and additional resources mailed to your home. Your firstborn can be better prepared for the new baby with a class of their own! This private online class covers newborn characteristics, ways they can help out, the feelings & fears of having new little one in the family, and much more! To prepare, they will get a package in the mail to help decorate the nursery and get their own Super Duper Sibling cape and mask!
