Infant Care & CPR IN-PERSON- Springfield, VA - Weekend 1-Day 2/12

Forty-eight hours after your baby is born you will be discharged from the hospital.  Are you ready to care for your precious child?

Come join other new parents as you learn some Baby Fundamentals!  Develop confident infant care skills in a small and relaxed hands-on program which includes:

*Newborn appearance, bathing, diapering and swaddling

*Hands on practice for infant massage

*Feeding your baby

*Handling crying spells and surviving colic  ("The Happiest Baby on the Block")

*Keys to identifying and treating infant illness

*Circumcision and umbilical cord care

*Infant behavior and playing with your baby

*Car seat safety and childproofing

*Pets and baby

Plus, you will practice Infant CPR including how to rescue the choking infant using the American Heart Association Family and Friends Class.  There is a $10 credit for registering for the Springfield Lamaze class and Baby Care.  Payment balance is due prior to first class.  Instructor will email the information.
