Flexible ON DEMAND Dates - Lamaze & Baby Care Combo!

The class is $180.00. A $40.00 deposit is due to hold your spot and the balance will be due via PayPal to the instructor.

Start Date will fluctuate with your registration date to maximize your time of service.  The last start date is 1/31.

Trying to fit a childbirth class into your busy holiday schedule? Enjoy some time preparing for your special “birth” day with a fun, informative, On-Demand Lamaze Class! You and your support person will learn all that is normally offered in a private class, but at the group class cost!

The first two videos (about 2 hours each) will cover:

• Anatomy
• Signs of labor
• Helpful hints for the coach
• Comfort measures such as breathing and relaxation techniques
• Various positions to help reverse back labor and failure to progress
• Hospital procedures and interventions
• Medications
• Cesarean birth
• Birth day care for mom and baby

The third video (also about 2 hours) will cover baby care basics, such as

• Newborn Appearance  and Reflexes
• Diaper changing and  Umbilical Cord Care
• Bath time and Bedtime
• Comforting a Crying Newborn
• Safety in the Home
• And info on choosing a pediatrician and daycare provider

The goal of the course is to provide a balanced approach, combining the benefits of Lamaze with medical practices, if needed, to enable mom to enjoy a positive birth experience. The bonus baby care video will prepare you for the beginning of your new life as a parent!

Registrants for this class also receive a book, complimentary review videos, and an optional private 30 min. Zoom meeting with the instructor any time during the one month viewing period.
